On the evening of Oct. 29 the Spartans played a final round in the boys district soccer tournament. The Spartans put up a good game against the Howell Vikings, going into overtime and losing 2-1.

Sophomore Joey Mueller was disappointed with the loss, but he believed the team in all had a good performance against the Vikings.

“I was hoping for a win, I guess it just didn’t go our way, we played good as a team, but it wasn’t our day,” Mueller said.
