Arete club back for another year of fun and recognition

Looking for a club to join this year that’s filled with fun, friends, and celebrations? Then Arete is the club for you. As Mrs. Zykan puts it, “Arete is a program where we recognize student and teacher achievement.” The requirements for Arete are to either be in a sport, club, excel in academics, and even participate in community service.

As far as celebrations are concerned, they hold a breakfast in the fall and a field day in the Spring.

“Arete is a good way to represent yourself to the school. I feel like it shows that you’re a part of something more,” said Senior Sarah Kabacinski.

If this sounds appealing to you, you can pick up a pillar form at the front of the school by the entrance. Pillar forms are due October 24th and are to be returned to room 2.

In addition, the last day to sign up to be a part of Arete’s committee is August 29th.
