After encountering many changes, the lady’s tennis team still prevails and bring home nothing but wins.

On August 22, the girls tennis team proved they were not settling for anything less than a win. Taking on Pattonville High School, the team brought home its first victory of the season.

“The season has gone great. Everybody is cool and so far we've done really well at our matches,” junior Kourtlyn Adams said.

After taking on Fort Zumwalt West, the team pushed its record to 2-0. The team’s next match is against Fort Zumwalt North today and the players plan to take the advice of new coach, Emily Ottsen, to make their record 3-0.

“The new coach has taught me how to just go out there and play and not be afraid of trying to win. Even though things are a little crazy right now, she's doing her best to deal with a team of crazy teenage girls,” Adams said.
