Spartans take down the Warriors

The first home game for the varsity boys basketball team started with a tough fight between the Spartans and the Warrenton Warriors, a fight the Spartans won. On Dec. 15, the triumph resonated with the fans who never stopped cheering for the Spartans. The game ended with 80 – 61 win against the Warriors.

The Spartans kept the crowd on their feet by making basket after basket. At half time, the Sensations demonstrated their jazz dance routine that put them in second at the Lindbergh competition. So far being undefeated, the team has positive outlooks for the rest of the season.

“We were really excited and in warmups we had shots that were really long because of that, and the crowd was good. We hope that it keeps getting bigger the better we do,” said senior captain Cameron Lundberg.
