On Friday, Feb. 26, the varsity girls basketball faced off against Howell, taking a loss of 63-22

The stands were filled, the students were rowdy, and the area buzzing with activity. Before and during the game, Spartans cheered and sang encouragement to the team, everyone rising and some jumping to the loud, upbeat songs. Cheerleaders and the dance group Studsations performed during time-outs and halftime. Senior night brought many supportive and passionate friends, and the team felt the energy, but just could not snag the win against Howell.

“We were so focused on having a good senior night that we didn’t really focus on the game very well.” Senior forward Lexie Clark said.
