“No Ban, no wall, America is home to all!” echoed throughout the streets of St.Louis on Saturday, February 4th as hundreds of Missouri citizens joined forces to march against President Trumps Anti-immigration orders.

On Tuesday, January 31st, President Trump issued an Executive Order to suspend the United States refugee admissions system for 120 days and the syrian refugee program indefinitely. This suspension specifically banned all refugees entering the US from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen. This order left hundreds of refugees detained in airports all over the country and thus sparking protest nationwide.

Over the weekend hundreds of citizens gathered outside the Eagleton courthouse in St.Louis to demonstrate their disapproval towards the anti-immigration orders. The march, being organized by the Council of American-Islamic Relations, quickly gained traction due to their social media following. “The turnout today was bigger than we could have ever imagined, so much so we definitely weren’t prepared for it.” stated the C.A.I.R. organizers.
