Swim team takes a tough loss
The girls swim team lost with a score 109-77 against Fort Zumwalt South on Dec. 7, for their second meet of the season.
Despite the tough loss, the girls are looking ahead to their hopes for the rest of the season. Sophomore swimmer Ellie Maxell explained her part on the swim team and the impact that the team has had on her.
“I love how close the girls are and the special bond we have with each other,” Maxwell said. “I have a lot of fun with swimming now and feel that the team did pretty good, but we could always improve.”
Be sure to catch the girls swim team at their next meet against Duchesne High School on Jan. 2 at 8:30 pm.
