This is my favorite photo because I captured the student section engaged and excited about the football game. It shows so much emotion and the quality is great. I really enjoy taking photos of football games but the student section is my favorite part to capture. The students are always into the game and it's a great way to experiment with getting great shots of action.

This is my favorite photo of the semester because the contrast of the lighter sky to the darker players is what made this photo stand out to me. You can’t see the player’s faces, but you can feel the anticipation of the Friday night football game. I love how the players are almost silhouetted against the pastel sky because it gives it a sort of peaceful vibe.

A week beforehand I had to purchase a solar filter, so my camera wouldn't break when I pointed it at the sun, and I managed to buy the last one in stock at the store. This is my favorite picture of the year because it shows Francis Howell Central's football team showing support for Mrs. Roxanne Fetsch and her fight through cancer by wearing orange ribbons on their helmets. This photo means a lot to me because it's of my friend Scott Hoephner, who unfortunately passed away this school year. He will be dearly missed by everyone at FHC. Once a spartan, always a spartan.

This is my favorite photo because it is a very clear depiction of the game. It shows the emotions of the players on both teams as well as the intensity of the game. This picture also shows how much effort was being put forth to win the game against their rival school, Francis Howell.

This is my favorite photo because I love the emotion and pure excitement within the picture. The boys soccer team had just won districts with ease and they were filled with joy about winning. I also love how the dark background contrasts with the beautiful yellow shade of the players' hair. It really pulls the attention forward and makes the viewer focus on the boy's excited expressions.
